May is Foster Care Month!

National Foster Care Awareness & Action Month is an opportune time to elevate the importance of education for students in foster care who too often face barriers to school stability and success. Education can be a key source of stability and community for youth in foster care to help unlock their full potential and ensure their holistic well-being. Strong policies and practices are needed to create positive school experiences and ensure academic success in PK-12 and beyond. The National Working Group on Foster Care and Education hosted a webinar and created a companion toolkit. Join us in elevating education success for students in foster care— Everyone plays a role! #FosterCareMonth
